Each participant is assigned a persistent skill value from a normal distribution. During each round, every participant's skill value is added to a luck value, also drawn from a normal distribution. The addition of skill luck make up the participants' score for the round. The table on the right ranks all of the participants by their average score. The bold participants started with above average skill. Try varying the parameters to see how often the most skilled end up on top.
